Rooted in Joy: A mid-week ancestral grounding for Black women leaders
Wednesday, October 14, 2026, 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST
The nation feels increasingly chaotic in a way that makes you weary. And in the midst of that, you’re still the one everyone leans on. You’re the one holding down the household, checking on your aging relatives, showing up for your kids, and carrying the work. You don’t ask for help, you just do the thing. This workshop is a mid-week pause, a moment just for you in the middle of the chaos, where you get to set some of it down. We’ll turn to ancestral grounding practices, the kind of steadying our grandmothers knew, to ease the tightness in your neck and the weight in your shoulders and bring you back to your own body. Joy here isn’t one more thing to earn. It’s your inheritance. Come remember that.

Joy After the Vote: A space to process, breathe, and hold on to joy after Election Day
Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 10:00 – 11:00 AM EST
Election Day rarely ends with a clean feeling. Whatever the outcome, the day after can stir up grief, relief, exhaustion, anger, or a strange mix of all of it at once, especially for people who’ve poured themselves into the work. This workshop is a space to process, breathe, and make room for whatever you’re carrying. Come as you are. We’ll be together, feel it all, and remember why we do any of this in the first place.

Reflecting in Joy: A guided writing workshop to close out the year with grace
Wednesday, December 9, 2026, 12:00 – 1:00 PM EST
December has a way of turning into a scoreboard. What did I get done? What did I drop? Where did I fall short? This guided writing workshop flips that script. Through reflective prompts, we’ll look back on the year with honesty and a whole lot of grace, and give ourselves permission to notice the joy that lived there too. This is a moment to see how far you’ve come, name what mattered, and close out the year feeling softer toward yourself. Bring a notebook and an open mind.
